UD/MH is now on Instagram - and we want your pictures

We are often contacted by journalists, urban designers, planners and policymakers, asking the same simple question: can you give us some examples of urban design that promotes good mental health in cities around the world? We want to be able to give them a range of interesting examples from cities all over the world, but our eyes can't be everywhere.
Picture
Fortunately, yours can, through the power of social media. We have just launched the UD/MH Instagram Page. This will hopefully prove to be a critical tool for promoting the opportunities for leveraging urban design to promote good mental health. It will also become an accessible discussion platform for us to share ideas with a greater audience.
The aim of our Instagram page is to present good (and bad!) examples of urban design for good mental health from all over the world. These could take any form, such as; parks, open spaces, public buildings, housing, etc - and any scale, city-wide or nuanced (as long as it fits into a photograph). The pictures should demonstrate the use of any of the urban design factors that affect mental health. These snapshots will weave together to create a patchwork of inspiration, and points of discussion – as well as feeding into the growing discourse of conscious urban design for the benefit of public health. The pictures may also be shared on our website or in publications to demonstrate challenges and possibilities.

It would be great to see this page grow and attract and connect new audiences around the world, alongside the other social media channels used by UD/MH. Moreover, it is a great way for all of us to show off our favourite cities, and our projects.

How can you get involved?
  • If you are active users of Instagram, please visit the page @urbandesignmentalhealth – follow, check out, share and comment on current posts.
  • Think of great images you have (or go out and take some photographs) that show urban design that promotes good mental health (or that does not).
  • Ensure that the images are your own, or that we have permission to post them, potentially over multiple platforms such as our blog, etc. Include appropriate attributions that we should use.
  • Include a short description about the location, context, and relevant features.
  • Submit the images to us directly through Instagram or by email.
  • Enjoy the images being shared on Instagram and on other platforms.
  • If you submit a lot, we can discuss the possibility of you doing a photo essay for UD/MH.

We look forward to seeing and sharing your pictures.

My wish right now is that God should continue to bless Dr Emu for his good works towards the life of those people who are heart broken. My name is Michael DeBruin and I am from the USA, it's been a while since my lover's attitude changed from being the caring type she has been to me, but later turned out not to be caring at all. But not long, I later discovered that my lover was having an affair with someone else. and also she told me she doesn't need me after all we pass through then a friend told me about a spell caster. that with the spell I will get back my woman, I took his cell number then called him and also what's-app him which he reply to me and I did some sacrifices to the spell man and he bought the items for me which he used for the sacrifices and later called me that before 48 hours my love will come back to me and now we are more in love with each other than ever. you can reach him on WhatsApp +2347012841542 or reach him via mail ; emutemple@gmail.com , my lover returned back and broke up with the other guy she was having a relationship with... Thank you Dr Emu.

I suffered from what they called peripheral artery disease (PAD). I have been suffering for years, Me and my wife searched for a medical cure, and then we came across a testimony of a man who suffered the same and was cured by Dr Chief Lucky. So my wife and I contacted Dr Chief Lucky via an email and thank God he replied. I explained what was wrong and he sent me herbal medicines that helped heal me completely. I am happy to say that herbal medicine is the ultimate and Dr Chief Lucky I am grateful. I'm just too happy that everything is in place for me now. I would gladly recommend the use of spell to any one going through marriage problems and want to put an end to it by emailing Dr Emu through emutemple@gmail.com and that was where I got the help to restore my marriage. I was really stressed by Acid reflux issues with my newborn and had consulted Chief Dr Lucky. He gave us a thorough consultation and the medicines were equally effective. In a couple of weeks there was big improvement in my son and we are very pleased with the progress. We cannot thank Chief Dr Lucky enough. Highly recommended.

Hi viewers online, I'm Elaine Taylor from the US. I'm here to share my testimony about how I was helped to get my husband back. I was a cheat and my husband caught me several times. I tried fixing myself and each time I ended up cheating over and over again. I guess I didn't realize what he meant to me until he had left me alone. I began to find a way to get him back but nothing seemed to work out perfectly until I came across an article about DR EDETANLEN who helped a lot of people globally to get their relationships back. I made contact with him and he assured me that my husband will come back to me within 48 hours with his powerful magic and I paid dollars for the materials needed for the work. Surprisingly, my husband came back home after 2 days saying that he still loves me and I swore never to cheat on him anymore. All thanks to DR EDETANLEN. You can have a chat with him on his WhatsApp number +234 815 569 9347 or you can contact him on Email dredetanlensolutioncente@gmail.com and on his Facebook page

DR EDETANLEN IS A LIFE SAVER AND I CAN ASSURE YOU ABOUT THAT BECAUSE HE GOT MY HUSBAND BACK TO ME. My name is Jennifer and I am here to join the numerous people out here to thank Dr Edetanlen for his help and kind gestures towards me. I had a horrible experience going through heartbreak with my man. He left me and I was devastated and couldn't find any sought of help to get him back. At some point I was depressed until I ran into pages where people testified about how Dr Edetanlen helped them. I contacted him and he never hesitated to help me as well. Not only did I get my man back after 48 hours, the love and happiness has also been restored better than ever. Dr Edetanlen is an amazing personality and I can't thank him enough for his selfless services towards humanity. Contact him now via his email: dredetanlensolutioncente@gmail.com
